ICE Metaverse

The COVID-19 that started spreading globally in 2020 has created fear that mankind never experienced before and a significant change in our society accordingly. During the two years of the pandemic, the global society has printed a considerable amount of money; contact-free experiences have become something natural. The rapid transformation in technology and finance has created a big wave of the century called the "Metaverse".

What is metaverse then? There are several opinions on the scope and definition of the metaverse. To define the metaverse, it is social, cultural, and economic actions done in three-dimensional virtual reality. However, many people still recall 3D or VR when they hear the word "metaverse". It is not so. The core of metaverse is gathering in an online three-dimensional space, forming society, sharing stories, creating cultures, and connecting economically.

According to recent research by NordVPN, a global VPN provider, Koreans spend 40% (34 years) of their life using the internet. People in other countries also spend tremendous time on the internet respectively. We are already spending a great portion of our life on the internet. It will be even more in the future.

The type of metaverse that the ICE Ecosystem pursues is not making games or platforms with 3D and VR features. It is to participate in the internet world, form society, create cultures, and get connected economically. There are already great 3D and VR platforms made by companies like NVIDIA, ADOBE, and META. Perhaps they are better than us?

The metaverse created within the ICE Ecosystem is in a form of a web application that we can easily run on our PC and mobile devices. The team focuses on the "Meta Community" in which the participants may form their society and get connected economically. The ICE community will expand to where we can find a better virtual platform with more advanced technology afterward.
